Another view of the beautiful Mason wheel. The "carvings" on the side were usually made of molded plaster with a faux finish. Note the plate glass under the wheel. This was to assure the wagerers that the wheel was on the up and up, no electrical wires or mechanical contraptions coming up from under this table!!
